Additional RF Scout Unit.

This additional RF GPS Scout should only be purchased as an addition to your existing complete set. This unit will not operate properly as a standalone unit without the software and RF base that is available with our complete RF GPS tracking system.  

This GPS tracking system is a covert tracking system for your car or truck or fleet. Vehicle tracking is quick and easy with our RF GPS Scout vehicle tracking device. This unique GPS device allows you to see where a vehicle has been.

The RF Scout GPS tracking system uses a unique radio transceiver to transmit the GPS history from your vehicle directly to your PC on command when the vehicle comes near the RF base. Once installed the RF GPS Scout logs all of the vehicle movements. When the vehicle comes within 250 feet (line of sight) of the RF base receiver that is attached to your PC the logged information can be downloaded. Now you can see where the vehicle has been on our mapping software displayed on your computer. There is no need to access the RF GPS Scout or physically attach it to your computer. The new RF wireless data technology makes keeping an eye on your vehicles easy.

The RF GPS Scout - (GPS tracking system) vehicle tracking device is weatherproof, operates on 4 C cell batteries (covert version) or can be connected directly to your vehicles power (fleet version), and has a very valuable energy saving motion detection circuit and most importantly the GPS data is downloaded directly to your PC via a wireless transmitter. Those four features added significant cost to this new tracking device but those features are indispensable for most customers.

Installation of the RF GPS Scout unit requires a user to simply insert the device inside the vehicle or even underneath the vehicle. We include an industrial strength magnetic mount. It literally takes 10 seconds to install and remove the RF GPS Scout. More discreet placement may take longer depending on the make and model of your vehicle and how well hidden the unit must be to meet your covert needs. The motion detection circuit shuts the unit down when the vehicle is stationary for longer than 5 minutes. This saves battery power and long computer view times. The RF GPS Scout is weatherproof making under vehicle installations no problem at all.

We offer this system in two basic configurations.

1. The battery powered (covert) version. RF GPS system is battery powered and does not require external power source. This version is preferred for missions that are short term and the user does not have access to the vehicle's power.
2. The direct wired (fleet) version. RF GPS system is connected directly to the vehicle's 12 volt power. This system is preferred when longer more permanent use is required.
