Built in recorder
Consistent recording quality is made possible by
recording directly to an SD card. This unit is
compatible with up to a 32 GB SD card, which will
allow for considerable recording time. SD cards
are very convenient because they can be easily
removed from the device, so you don't have to
connect the device to your computer. Self-contained camera systems offer consistent
quality unlike wireless solutions because the
quality is often degraded by poor signal.
Recording Modes
To
get the most efficiency out of the recording
capacity there are four recording modes: manual
record, motion detection continuous record and alarm
record. The motion activated setting allows for
adjustments in sensitivity and area selection.
Select the recording mode that best suits your needs
to maximize memory usage efficiency. Greater
recording efficiency also reduces the time to view
footage.
PC Viewable Video
To retrieve data, simply connect the SD card to your
computer. Video is saved in a common Mpeg4 format,
which is supported by most media players. With data
stored on an SD card video can be viewed discreetly
on any computer. Since the files are viewable on any
computer, evidence can easily sent to other involved
